A heartbreaking story of Innocent Njoku, a victim of a hit-and-run accident in Imo State, Nigeria. The driver, Mr. Franklin, working with Multiple Consumer Product LTD, allegedly knocked down Njoku on December 23, 2022, and abandoned him at the hospital.
Njoku’s family, particularly his wife, Lolo Cynthia Ngozi Njoku, and Elder Joseph Njoku, are seeking justice and calling on police under CP Aboki Danguma to use his good office and bring the proprietors to book.
They claim that the company and driver have neglected Njoku’s medical needs, despite his severe injuries, including a damaged knee cap.
The family has spent over 25 million Naira on medical treatment, but Njoku’s condition is worsening. They are appealing to the Imo State government, the Commissioner of Police, and good Samaritans to intervene and ensure that the company takes responsibility for Njoku’s medical care.
