Imo State City Transport Association Chairman World Obowo Celebrates Kenneth Okafor on his Appointment as Commissioner.

The Chairman Imo City Transport Association, Elder Anaelechi Ukawunne Obowo, is celebrating the appointment of Chief Kenneth Okafor as a Commissioner in Imo State.
Okafor, a former Special Adviser to the Governor on Transport, was screened by the Imo State House of Assembly on January 30, 2025, alongside two other nominees, Prof. Boniface G. Nworgu and Barr. Enyinnaya Onuegbu
Elder Anaelechi Ukawunne, praised the appointment, calling it “a round peg in a round hole” in Governor Hope Uzodimma’s shared prosperity administration.
He thanked the Governor for choosing Okafor, promising continued support from the Imo City Transport Association for Okafor’s success.
As a former Special Adviser on Transport, Okafor has a strong background in the sector, which will likely serve him well in his new role.
His appointment has been welcomed by various groups including the Major Stakeholders in the Transport sectors friends and well wishers.
