Pastor Chris Mbarie, the Executive Chairman of Orlu Local Government Area in Imo State, has made significant strides in recovering the area from insecurity and setting a new standard for administration.

By working with a complete team in harmony and peace including the Orlu Legislative Council, his executives, and supervisory members, Mbarie has been able to reintegrate the system and make decisions that benefit the community as a Grassroots development person by opening infrastructure development to rural communities, Empowerment of women.

One of his notable achievements is the construction of an additional office complex to accommodate the people and provide a better working environment for officials.

Mbarie has also fulfilled his campaign promises by empowering over 150 indigent women through the Women Empowerment Scheme, providing them with non-refundable funds to start petty trading which according to him will continue in sequence until the women in Orlu Council are completely elevated.

Furthermore, Mbarie’s administration is supporting the education of children in the area, enrolling over 150 students in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination to set moral and academic standards.

The best-performing students will be granted scholarships to universities and other tertiary institutions as a leverage to their family.

Mbarie’s efforts have not gone unnoticed, and his administration is setting a new standard for infrastructure development in the Council by encouragement and supervision of the State Government projects within the area. Mbarie has made Orlu Council calm and habitable again after the heinous insecurity saga few years ago and thank the resident of the area on the continue support to the State.

With the support of the Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, Mbarie is confident that Orlu will continue to thrive and become one of the developed cities in Nigeria and urged the people of Orlu on the need to plan and bring investments home for Grassroots development.
