Imo Journalists Commend NPF For Honouring Commander Tiger Base CSP Ola As Best Crime Busters Police Officer in 2024

The Nigeria Union of Journalists Imo State chapter has expressed happiness in a congratulations message to the Commander Tiger Base others wise known as Anti Kidnapping Units of Imo State Police Command, CSP Odeyeyiwa Oladimeji for emergence as the 2024 best Officer for Crime Busters by the Nigeria Police Force, NPF.
In a congratulations message Imo State Factional NUJ State Chairman Comrade Ifeanyi Nwanguma said that the development is a plus to the State and the Imo Command for the positive contributions of the Cracked and thorough breed Police Officer CSP Odeyeyiwa Oladimeji to the State has been recognized at the National level.
It’s on record that the presence of CSP Ola, has made the people of the State to sleep with two eyes closed with his effortless and target oriented to the nooks and crannies of the State hunting and arresting criminals raging from the dreaded Unknown gunmen, Kidnappers and Armed Robbers including Serial rapists.
CSP Odeyeyiwa Oladimeji has shown utmost professionalism in his discharge of his duties as he has a special blessing to know how to catch criminals and best approach to gather useful information as regards with the criminal activities and possibly arrest all the perpetrators of heinous crimes with his team made up of experienced Trained Personnel.
Without the Tiger Base Units in the State Command gunmen would have long run down the State but many thanks and appreciation must go to the governor Senator Hope Uzodimma and the Commissioner of Police Imo State Command CP Aboki Danjuma for beefing the Units to ensure optimal service delivery by the ever combatant ready and gallant Officers under the administration of the Revered Police Chief, Ola.
According to him, Imo State NUJ has long observed the goodness in Chief Odeyeyiwa Oladimeji and has long honoured him as the Best Crime Fighter Officer by the South East NUJ Zonal Chapter in Enugu Enugu State.
It’s a welcome development for this recognitions for the job well done by the Nigeria Police Force to one of their best Officer as it will serve as an encouragements to other police officers in order to put in their best in the business of Security of lives and property in Nigeria.
At the inaugural Nigeria Police Awards and Commendation ceremony in Abuja, Rivers Commissioner of Police Olatunji Disu was honored with the prestigious Commissioner of Police of the Year award. The award, alongside 15 others, was bestowed based on recommendations from the Nigeria Police Force Awards Committee, chaired by Deputy Inspector-General of Police Bala Ciroma.
Among the distinguished guests were Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Bola Tinubu, and other dignitaries including Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, Inspector-General of Police Olukayode Egbetokun, and Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Christopher Musa, among others.
The ceremony recognized outstanding officers such as CSP Odeyeyiwa Oladimeji for Crime Buster of the Year, and SP Haruna Abdullahi for Police Public Relations Officer of the Year, among others, told source.
