A political motivated Non Governmental Organization under the aegis of committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization CYMS Imo State Chapter has honoured, Chief Sir Tony Chukwu (Onweghi-Ihe-Kariri-Chineke) with an Excellent Leadership Award and Imo State Grand Patron CYMS on 31 March 2024.
This, according to the group was a follow up to show appreciations to, Sir Tony Chukwu on his passionate efforts on youth development and his unbeateable record on human capital empowerment schemes in the State and Nigeria in general.
Earlier on, The CYMS Ehime Mbano Coordinator, Comrade Nwaodu Felix who led the delegations and moderated the historic event, while introducing CYMS Executives and members to Chief Chukwu explained in details the roles and obligations of the organization
While Imo State Coordinator CYMS, Comrade Daniel Olegeme , officially and happily presented CYMS facecap, muffler, copies of Programme of the forthcoming CYMS National Conference slated to hold in Abuja on may 16th and 17th 2024 and a copy of Stateman Newspaper containing the CYMS congratulatory message to the Governor of Imo State His excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma as well as a Certificate of Excellent leadership/Grand Patron of CYMS Imo State Chapter to Chief Sir Tony Chukwu (Onwegi ihe kariri chineke)
Responding, Chief Tony Chukwu expressed satisfactions with the activities of the Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization CYMS Imo State Chapter in their effort to complements government programmes in the state. He promised to assist the group to succeed and encouraged them on the need for unity of purpose and oneness.
The event witnessed the presence of State Executive Officers and The Zonal Executive Officers and Ehime Mbano members of the Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization CYMS Imo State Chapter respectively.
