2027: Njaba Political Leaders Rally Behind Ike Kemka
for Isu/Njaba/Nwangele/Nkwerre Federal Constituency Seat

As political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum, prominent political leaders and stakeholders in Njaba Local Government Area have thrown their weight behind the Action People’s Party (APP) candidate for the Isu/Njaba/Nwangele/Nkwerre Federal Constituency, Engr. Ike Kemka, describing him as a credible alternative for effective representation at the National Assembly.
Kemka, who recently commenced his grassroots consultation and sensitisation tour across the constituency, began the exercise in Okwudor, Njaba LGA, where he met with ward chairmen, party executives and community leaders. The visit was aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots structure and mobilising support ahead of the 2027 polls.
Addressing party faithful and stakeholders, the APP House of Representatives candidate expressed appreciation for the warm reception accorded him and pledged to provide inclusive, responsive and people-oriented representation if elected.
He assured members that his leadership would accommodate every segment of the constituency, irrespective of political affiliation, status or ward, adding that his commitment to public service predates his political ambition.
According to Kemka, he has consistently contributed to the welfare and development of his people through various humanitarian interventions and community development initiatives, promising to expand such efforts through effective legislative representation.
Speaking during the meeting, the APP Chairman in Njaba Local Government Area, Ichie Kenneth Ndukwu, urged party members to remain united and committed to the party’s vision, stressing that collective effort would be crucial to securing victory in the forthcoming election.
The Chairman of Chairmen (CoC) in Njaba and Chairman of Okwudor Ward, Comrade Alex Onyekachi Duru, who hosted the event, commended Kemka for choosing Njaba as the starting point of his consultation tour. He assured the candidate of the unwavering support of ward chairmen and party members, expressing confidence that the constituency would deliver massive votes for the APP.
Also speaking, the Njaba Campaign Coordinator, Chief Bon Nnaka, thanked the candidate for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to work closely with ward chairmen, party executives and other stakeholders to mobilise support across the local government area.
In his vote of thanks, Hon. Sir Cletus Ndukwu applauded Kemka for his humility, courage and commitment to public service. He encouraged the candidate to remain focused and prayed for God’s guidance and success as he seeks to represent the constituency in the House of Representatives.
The event ended on a jubilant note as Kemka made financial donations to support party members in attendance and reaffirmed his determination to deliver quality representation that would attract meaningful development to the constituency.
Party leaders described the visit as the beginning of a strategic grassroots mobilisation campaign designed to consolidate the APP’s support base across Njaba Local Government Area and the entire Isu/Njaba/Nwangele/Nkwerre Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 general elections.
