The Credibility of the Imo state 2024 Local governments’ election conducted by Imo state Independent electoral service commission is still being contested by a political top notch , High Chief Dr. Collins Chigozie Osuagwu.
The top notch Politician , who is an avowed Democrat whose political profile has sent shivers into Political circles both in Imo and the Nation took a political milestone , dragging Imo state government under distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma CON with the state electoral empire to Courts .
The matter at Imo High Court Six is now a battle which governor Hope Uzodinma’s government is seriously trying to escape due to its intricacies as High Chief Dr Collins Osuagwu has dragged them to the office of Mr. President who also is an avowed Democrat for their intervention .
The Litigant who is an international oil and gas magnet is craving for the protection of his Fundamental human rights , being infringed through the faulty processes embarked by Imo government electoral empire , ISIEC supritenteded by Hon Chief Charles Ejiogu .
Many political observers are of the opinion that the tenure of the present Imo state Local Executive Chairmen might be quashed since government failed to abide by the ditects and rules of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as Amended in collaboration with ISIEC guidelines equally.
The stage is set for the the Federal government under His Excellency Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu to prove being Law abiding and adherent to Rule of Law.
