Imo Female Lawyers Adopts IMHA Clerk Mrs Emeghara as member of NBAWF

The Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF), Imo State Chapter, has adopted the Clerk/Head Legislative Service, Imo State House of Assembly, Chinelo Adaora Emeghara, Esq as a bona fide member of the Association in the State.
The visit was led by the State lead, Chetachi Success Udeh, Esq, and aimed to congratulate Mrs Emeghara on her appointment as the first substantive female Clerk of the Imo State House of Assembly.
The Clerk expressed her delight at the visit, stating that it was an open endorsement by women groups supporting the progress of their fellow women in leadership positions and public offices. She pledged to continue aligning herself with the progress, welfare, development, and empowerment of female lawyers in Imo State.
The State lead highlighted the objectives of NBAWF, including addressing matters of interest to female lawyers, encouraging networking, serving as a voice for female lawyers, and establishing a global platform.
She requested the Clerk’s assistance and support, particularly as a Special Guest at the forthcoming Health Week workshop.
The visit ended with the decoration of the Clerk as a full-fledged member of the forum. Other members of NBAWF present during the visit included Barristers Lilian Ugoanyanwu, Chika P. Egwunwoke, Faith Amarachi Okpara, and others.
