Ogbuagu Returns to PDP, Says ‘I Have No Grudge Against Labour Party Members or anyone else.

A former Majority Leader Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uche Ogbuagu, has formally rejoined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State, declaring that he harbours no resentment toward members of the Labour Party, whom he described as “brothers.”
Ogbuagu, who returned to the PDP alongside a large number of his supporters, said his decision followed extensive consultations with political associates and constituents. He described the PDP as his “political family” and the most suitable platform to advance the collective aspirations of the people of Mbaitoli and Ikeduru federal Constituency.
“I am back to my political family. I have no grudge against anyone. Members of the Labour Party remain my brothers,” he said.
He noted that his return was motivated by a desire to contribute to the rebuilding and repositioning of Imo State, stressing his commitment to unity, inclusiveness, and good governance.
The event, which attracted party stakeholders and supporters, was marked by the formal reception of Ogbuagu and his loyalists into the PDP. Party leaders present described his return as a significant development that would strengthen the party’s grassroots base and political structure ahead of future engagements.
The National leadership and State Executive of the party in Owerri Imo State expressed confidence that Ogbuagu’s experience and influence would add momentum to the party’s efforts in the state.
The gathering ended with renewed calls for unity among members, as supporters welcomed Ogbuagu back into the PDP fold with enthusiasm.
