Hon. High Chief Canice Moore Nwachukwu, the Federal House member for Orlu, Orsu, and Oru-East Constituency for Legislative Excellent in Owerri Imo State recently .
President of the group Mr. Reginald Oloko passionately read out the outstanding quality to attract the award giving his proactiveness and legislative sagacity and encourage him to carry his colleagues along as the only Journalist in the 10th National Assembly membership.
The award recognizes further his outstanding performance at the National Assembly and Ecowas Parliament, particularly his work on the Ecological Problems Committee .
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Canice Moore Nwachukwu expressed gratitude for being chosen among the 10 National Assembly members from Imo State.
He acknowledged the crucial role of journalists in setting agendas and analyzing current trends.
The award was given in recognition of his exceptional service to his constituents, as well as his sagacity at the National Assembly and Ecowas Parliament .
Hon. Nwachukwu also used the opportunity to assure his constituents that the leadership of APC in Imo State, led by Senator Hope Uzodinma, is committed to providing lasting solutions to the state’s ecological problems.
He emphasized his dedication to representing his constituents’ interests and promised to continue working tirelessly for their benefit.
The event was attended by community leaders, journalists, and notable figures, including Dr. Chief Emeka Enyinnaya and the Chairman Imo State Newspaper Publishers Association IMNPA Chief Declan Anaele, who praised Hon. Canice Moore Nwachukwu quality representation and excellent services.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Imo State Chairman of Online Newspaper Publishers Association, UN Eminent Peace Ambassador Anselem Gozie Anokwute who expressed happiness with the award and called on the Federal Lawmaker to do something more exceptional for the Journalists in Imo state and Orlu Zone in particular to show that he is one of them as a Journalists.
