Orlu Zone Political Pressure Group Faults Uzodimma’s Executive Appointment Style
…Dashes 2027 Imo Charter of Equity hope

A Non Governmental Organization but a Political Pressure Group from Orlu Zone under the aegis of Isu Nation Convention (INC) has raised alarm over the lopsided and selfishness in the recent selections of Imo State Executive Council appointees by the State governor Senator Hope Uzodimma.
Rising from their last Congress resolutions signed by the President General, Isu Nation Convention, INC, Chief Batos Nwadike (Oyi of Igboland) and few others stating negative on the current appointment made by the Governor depicting the Purported spirit of Charter of Equity and called on the people of Isu Clan in Orlu Zone not to feel jittery to prepare for the next elections and work harder to earned good political positions in Imo State and Nigeria in general.
According to the official report from the group, stated as follows,
“The Highest Council of Isu Nation some hours ago concluded its routine conclave meeting, which held on 20th April, 2024, at the Ozuruigbo leadership Centre Umueze Umuorlu Isu in Nwangele LGA with the President General Dr. Batos Nwadike (Oyi of Igboland) bodily present and presided over the meeting. The meeting was well attended and in full capacity”.
OBSERVATIONS:
The INC Highest Council have observed the recent Imo State government appointments and reappointment into the Imo state government. We are aware that a local government like Nwangele has three commissioners. Fine. We also observed that Isu Local Government has three commissioners. Fine. We are also aware that Njaba, Nkwerre, and half of Orlu (Isu nation area), which is even bigger than some local governments in Imo State, have no commissioners at all. All these we have observed.
RESOLUTIONS:
The INC Highest Council on behalf of the people of Isu Clan restates our position about the politics of Orlu zone and Imo State, which we have in decades been a major stakeholder and contributory pipe. We have helped in sundry ways of voting for our brothers, helping to set agendas, and brought huge sums of money and materials to realize the dreams of our neighbours and failed allies. Despite all our patriotic contributions, our lot has been to be excluded and degraded and profiled as those who can not fit into legacy offices of high, profile national offices. Therefore, our agitation is that we are not interested in the number of commissioners and special advisers and what not what. He who wishes to be can go ahead but not in the overall interest of Isu Nation.

We shall, therefore, in the coming years, take our destiny into our hands as all neighbourly friendship has failed us.
Our position remains clear, we urge all our sons and daughters to begin to strategise to occupy the high offices of Governor, Senator, and Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2027. Enough of hewing wood and fetching water!. The resolution reads.
