A Nigerian Democratic Congress(NDC) Imo House of Assembly hopeful from Ideato South State Constituency, Hon  Ezejimmadu Uchenna Daniel has purchased his  Expression of Interest Form.

Speaking  to our  reporterr  immediately  after obtaining his  form from party officials at the  weekend,  he said he was following the footsteps  of  party leader,  Peter  Obi who is  popular with the mantra  ” A son of nobody can be somebody in Nigeria “.

On his plans for his constituents if elected lawmaker in the Imo State House of Assembly,  Ezejimmadu  who lamented that those before him had taken his constituency 20 years back, assured that he would ensure access to healthcare because it is  very vital to  every society.

” The healthcare I am talking about is Smart Healtcare whereby you will no longer go to Owerri for medical attention but a certain machine will be brought from China and the healthcare is accessed right in my constituency.

“Again, I will align with the youths of my constituency by bringing out  a certain amount from the coffers to take care of their housing, school fees and  health needs. My  contact with NDDC will  also assist in reparing the roads and dilapidated school structures in the area.

” I will also set up an ICT centre where youths will be taught to become computer literate and given certificates at the end of  their programmes. As a Health Safety  and Environment 1,2 and 3 holder, I can  bring experts to teach my constituents on things about the  field.   In the end, they can become seaferers, safety officers ettc.”
