Protection of Govt Property:Njaba LGA Introduces Community Dominance Ownership Approach.

The Executive Chairman Njaba LGA Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi (Etiokwe), has disclosed reasons his council, Njaba LGA introduced “Community Dominance Ownership” Approach to Government Projects and property to ensure accountability and safety.
The local govt boss maintained that the immediate neighborhood would be accountable to the losses or damages to any established Government project around their vicinities which is directly assumed to belong to the people of the area in particular and the public in general .
He said any form of internal or external displacement, Vandalism and destruction, the neighborhood would be held responsible for proper accountability and scrutiny.
He expressed confidence that Njaba people are expressly aware that government established developmental projects are theirs and therefore must protect same .
He maintained that the use of the Owerri Orlu Road Streets Solar panel lights unhindered are intact.
He observed that Vehicles without even headlights could travel in the night from Njaba LGA to Owerri in less than 10 minutes”. The governor Senator Hope Uzodimma has done much compared to past Governors from Orlu Zone.
“Rochas Okorocha’s eight years was a collosal failure to Orlu Area and the zone. Today a governor that came for a purpose, Senator Hope Uzodimma has done great to remedy the extensive damage on Orlu/Akokwa road which their brother Senator Rochas Okorocha failed woefully to do”.
We are encouraging our people to take government projects in their place as their own since the immediate beneficiary of the project , therefore must ensure Protection and maintenance , if the need be”.
The Local government Chairman reiterated his resolve and determination to ensure that the
damaged portions through accident will be investigated to assist the internal people arrest penetrators and check the faults. Any of them caused by recklessness and overbearing influence of the victim will be replaced by since carelessness knocking down Street- solar lights or electric poles, Vandalisation of government projects and many others are evil and saboutage.
He appealed to Imo people to support governor Senator Hope Uzodimma whom he described as a governor sent by God to salvage the people.
He maintained that the Orlu Zone under the previous administration was a shadow but getting properly transformed under the current governor.
Road infrastructure with the street lights is first of it’s kind in the State courtesy of the governor Senator Hope Uzodimma. He maintained that the Owerri Orlu road that ended at the Banana junction has continued to extend to the neighbouring state of Anambra State inline with the Federal government Plans which according to him will Link some of the abandoned Communities within the line.
Government House Annex Orlu will also attract a lot of other infrastructure development to ensure conducive and easy way for the government development initiative.
Peace have returned courtesy of the governor Senator Hope Uzodimma who has done well to security of life and property in the area.
Responding to the magic involved to secure government property and security in Njaba, Chief vitalis Obi said that it’s only God with the efforts of the governor Senator Hope Uzodimma and the joint security agencies including internal security vigilantes and called for synergy and peace for the progress of the State.
He condemned the vandalization of government property in the State and urged his colleagues Council Chairman to adopt same measures to curb vandalism.
