Food Productions Njaba LGAs Chairman Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi promises to work in Synergy with Farming Group.

Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi (Etiokwe), the Executive Chairman of Njaba Local Government Area in Imo State, has pledged to collaborate with Farmers Helping Hand Njaba Chapter to boost agricultural production and support farmers in the council. This partnership aims to enhance food production, address shortages, and make Njaba a key agricultural hub in Imo State.
During a courtesy visit, Comrade Alexander Onyeka Osunwa, Farmers Helping Hand Orlu Zone Coordinator and Njaba leader, expressed the group’s commitment to supporting Chief Obi’s administration.
Osunwa maintained that the group will do better if given adequate opportunity to excel in their farming output with the necessary farming implements such as Tractors, seedlings, Fertilizers and financial logistics or grands.
He highlighted their demonstration farm’s success and presented some of the harvested produce to the chairman.

Eze Anthony Ndubueze Onyeka of Nkume Ancient kingdom and the Chairman Njaba Local Government Area Council of Traditional Rulers and Community Policing, thank the Chairman Njaba Local Government Area Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi Etiokwe for the meeting and expressed confidence in the group “Farmers Helping Hand” quest and strength to make food produce available in the State. He pointed out that he is a bona-fide member and has a befitting farms to complete the efforts of the group and solicit for the regular encouragements and support from the Council.
Chief Obi emphasized the importance of farming and food production, encouraging Njaba residents to engage in farming to combat food scarcity.
He discouraged idleness and unnecessary land sales, promising to provide necessary support, including seminars and symposia for farmers.
