Imo Good Citizens Says Tiger Base Unit Contributes Reasonably to the Peace & Security in Imo State
..Should be Protected, No Blackmails as Officers are Humans

The Imo State Police Command under CP Aboki Danjuma has done well in terms of practical security of lives and property in the State and contributing reasonably to the Peaceful tranquility, stability and security in the State that deserve appraisals not blackmail.
As the Police Command under CP Aboki Danjuma was able to wrestle down the insecurity tempos orchestrated by the naive activity of Unknown Gun Men under the ESN in the recent past which nearly destroyed the entire State.
In a separate speeches, some concerned Imo People under the aegis of Imo Good Citizens (IGC) said that, Tiger Base Unit of Imo State Police Command should be encouraged and supported and caution those enemies of peace in the State to stop the unruly blackmail and take any perceived reports against them to the appropriate authorities or the Command for proper investigations and reprimand not going to social media to cast aspersions and tantrums on the good work of the police in the State, noting that, the Police people are equally human beings. Who can errs but the Command has appropriate authorities to handle such situations.
The credits of this good security reports is coming from the good dispositions and security formation in Imo State Police Tiger Base Unit, which has remained the major reasons behind the peaceful coexistence and prompt intervention to Security’s of lives and property recently enjoying by the people of State by so doing the Officers are always awake and denied other leisure of life for the people to sleep with their two eyes closed.
The police are tirelessly fights against criminals and other related duties to move the state forward and should be encouraged with the necessary Love and care.
On this note, the people should give the Commander Tiger Base CSP Odeyeyiwa Oladimeji kudos and gratitude for his good work and efforts in championing the fight to checkmate incidents of criminals, kidnappers, Armed robbers and other security threats including those hiding under the IPOB, Eastern Security Network (ESN) notority mayhem in the State.
It’s on record according to them, that, Without Tiger Base Unit in Imo State Police Command and few others, there wouldn’t have been anything related to peaceful tranquility, stability and security in Imo State so people should endeavor and able to support the Units to enable them succeed and not to cast aspersions on the gallant Police formation.
It obvious to State that any bridge of law by the police officers on duty or any other security Agents against anyone in the State shouldn’t be ascribe to Tiger Base brutality, extortions and intimidations as it’s falsehood as Tiger Base Men are very busy and not joining the Anti Narcotics or Civil Taskforce but out to fight serious criminals in the State.
The allegations according to the group, was simply meant giving the dog a bad name to hang it. People should be free to take their complaints on the possible erring officers to the appropriate Police Command for proper scrutiny and punishment to serve as a deterrant to others not to assault the command.
The assault according to them is the attempt of the enemy’s of the State to bring down the Unit in order to continue their crimes and criminality against the State which is not acceptable by the Imo State Police Command.
Unlike the recent outcry and falsehood accusations against the Unit on the Anti Narcotics actions against some people in the State in which the Unit are not involved and were erroneously dragged in the accusations and called on the public not to be decieve by such negative opprobrium.
This according to the Unit will not deterred them from doing the needful and right thing to ensure taking drastic measures against criminals in the State.
The allegations is only meant to reduce the efforts of the units in the State in the fight against criminals to bring bad images to the gallant Work of the Imo State Police Command under CP Aboki Danjuma by describing the good work as a misconducts allegedly stating below.
“Stakeholders have criticized misconduct of officers whereas Imo State Police Command, Owerri have initiated a special complaints desk to report the Case of perceived abnormality and abuses from the police officers on duty as the Inspector General of Police IGP, Egbutekun is out to fight all forms of police unruly behavior and not going on the social media to coerce and incite the public against the Police as “Police has often remained the Friends of the people and will continue to do the work in accordance with the Police bye law or Act”.
