New Healing Stream CMD, Dr Okparaji bags Anglican Diocese of Owerri Mission Partners Award

The Chief Medical Director, New Healing Stream Specialist Hospital, Orlu Road, Owerri, Dr Chima Okparaji has been conferred with Mission Partner Award by the Diocese of Owerri (Anglican Communion) in recognition of his outstanding contributions towards kingdom expansion.
The award was conferred on Dr Okparaji on the occasion of the grand finale of the 1st session of the 23rd synod of the diocese with the theme “You are the gospel: the call for standing out for Christ” held at the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of Our Lord, CATOL, Owerri.
In an interview with newsmen shortly after receiving the award, he expressed delight that he was among the few people that received the award on the occasion, adding that the little contributions he has been making for the work of God and growth of the church and humanity were being noticed by the diocese.
The renowned medical practitioner disclosed that the award came to him as a surprise because few people received the award, stressing that the award has spurred him for more and harder work for God and humanity because according to him, to whom much is given, much is expected and thanked the diocese for the honour done him.
He also enjoined the well-to-do in society to be more committed to the work of God, reminding christians that only people who know God and do his work will make exploits.
