Okwaraejiaku Unveils New Face of Imo State Vehicle Inspectors, VIOs
… Abazu, Abimbola, charges them to Always Apply Human Face.

The Commissioner for Transport Imo State, Dr Chika Benson Abazu and the permanent secretary has charged members and Officers of the Imo state ministry of Transport Vehicles Inspections Officers VIO on the need to remained good ambassadors of the state and do the work to attract positive name and to promote government established images.
Dr Abazu and Chief Abimbola, in a separate remark gave the charges to the leadership and members of the newly reconstituted Vehicle Inspections Officers in the ministry of Transport Imo State during their special decorations of the duos with the complete uniforms showing the outfits readiness to work inline with the government policies and programs entrusted in the 3R mantra.
Speaking, Dr Chika Benson Abazu, current Imo State Commissioner of Transport, said that, he accepted the good gestures to appear in the Paramilitary gown with the Permanent Secretary and pointed out that the only way to encourage them is for the outfit to do the right thing and working and
applying human face in the discharge of their assignments.
According to him, road users are part of the people in the State and should be considered first in the security architecture as Vehicle inspections officers are equally in the roads for a safety purposes and not for extortion.
Earlier in his address the State Vehicle Inspections Officer, (VIO Boss), Engr. Chuks Okwaraejiaku, (Babanture)said that, he came to present to the ministry the new face of Imo State Vehicle Inspections Officers and to decorate the leadership of the ministry of Transport with the Organizations uniform nomenclature and presentations of the Special Sceptre or staff of duty according to the organization ways to honour them.
Chief Engr. Okwaraejiaku who is fondly called Babanture, said that, the new VIO members are eager and earnestly ready to do the needful by dropping all the obnoxious behaviors in the past and imbibe in the new culture and order according to the organizations guide line as true ambassadors.
He promised to show up with his members in the October 1 National Independence Day celebrations in their cooperate Black and White attires with enabling ranks and positions and promised to domesticate the Paramilitary Outfits in all the 27 Councils of Imo State.
Speaking a Zonal Commander, VIO, Chief Ernest Anyanwu while praying for commissioner Abazu and his permanent secretary for standing in patriotics for the ministry to ensure the training and retraining of the officers to achieve good results.
While praying further, for their sustainace and the ministry’s promotions on its norms and values in the new face of the Vehicle Inspections Officers duty to achieve patriotism, uncompromised and anti government policies earlier stated by the commissioner Dr Chika Benson Abazu and his Permanent Secretary, Chief Abimbola Ogunleye.
Highlights of the occasion was the official engagement in the training and advise to the Staff of the Transport ministry for the need to work as a family and to get prepared for the October1 , 2024 National Independence’s Day celebrations.
