IMO Council polls: Group Appeals to Governor Uzodimma to Consider Uche Chukwudi for Oguta LGA, Chairmanship position

A group, Citizens Grassroots Reinances and Human Development Initiatives (CIGREHDI), has appealed to Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, to consider and support, Hon. Comd. Uche Chukwudi (Iyi of Egbuoma) as the Chairman of Oguta Local Government Area in the upcoming council polls.

The group’s National Publicity Secretary, Comd. Stanley Nwaeze, described, APC Aspirants in the upcoming election, Uche Chukwudi, (their National Leader) as a tested and trustworthy loyalist of the governor, who has demonstrated commitment to the governor’s 3R vision in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.

He highlighted, Uche Chukwudi’s past experience as an Interim Management Committee member and Supervisor for Works and Transport in Oguta LGA, during which he faced attacks and vandalism for his strong support of the governor’s achievements which leads to his house at Egbuoma been vandalized and the continued threats to his life by hoodlums and hooligan’s.

CIGREHDI believes that, Uche Chukwudi’s election as Oguta LGA Chairman will promote grassroots development and strengthen the delivery of democratic dividends in the area.

The group is a registered national grassroots-based political pressure organization focused on promoting and monitoring government facilities, contributions, and development at the ward, community, and grassroots levels.
