A prominent Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Leader in Imo State and a Legal Luminary, Amb.Barr Green Nnabugwu, Ijere, has received Award of Excellence by the Human Rights and Peace Stakeholders during a town hall summit in Owerri Imo State.
The leadership of the human rights group pointed out that the need to inform the general public on the issue of prevalent human rights abuse and the need to check mate it for the interest of the people.
The theme of the summit is Justices and human rights, a panacea for peace in Imo State was witnessed by many people specially drawn from different sectors including, Security Agencies, Academia, Traditional Institution, Clergy, Journalists and many others.
Expressed satisfactions with the massive turnout of the audience on 17July, 2024 at Rock View Hotel Owerri Imo State. To educate and intimate the people on the need to help forestall peace in the State and helping the Security operatives to curb crimes and Criminality in the State.
Responding, Barr. Nnabugwu thanked the group for founding him worthy to receive the prestigeous award and dedicated same to his immediate family and the security operatives for their good work to safe guide the state.
He encouraged them on their continues efforts to serve the people through personal sacrifices.
