A Frontline contender in September 21 2024 Imo Local Government Election for Oguta Local Government Area Chairmanship position, Deacon Johnbosco Obodo, JP has promised to bring back the Lost glory in Oguta Council premises by strictly adherence total restructuring of the dilapidated and abandoned infrastructure at the headquarters inline with the Governor’s 3R Agenda.
Deacon Obodo stated this while fielding questions to Newsmen, when he came for his documentation at All Progressive Congress State Secretariat Owerri Imo State, Last Friday, 19 July 2024.
According to him, having graciously served in the Local Government System over the years as Union Leader stand the chance to correct the anomaly and reposition the Council for the interest of all.
Expressing disatisfaction with the level of dilapidation, Ignominy and abandonment of public infrastructure in the Council by the past Local Government Area authority’s and described the council as a shadow of itself and an eye sour.
He said that, there is no single hall for comfortable meeting place except the small hall built under late Nze Eugene Amadi which is currently in a deplorable conditions.
The Council also need Perimeter fence to stop the nefarious activities of illegal land grabbers, encroachment and criminal elements from invasions. He said .
On his intention of vvying for the position of Oguta Local Government Area Chairmanship as the Aspirant of APC, Deacon Comrade Obodo, said that, he is experienced more than any of his contemporary and will anchor his administrations on quality service delivery to the people of Oguta based on humility, transparency and Accountability.
To make Sure that the people of Oguta enjoyed the dividends of democracy and ensure that the government present is felt at the Community level with Improvement in educational, Health Care sectors and many others.
“Voting for me is the best for the interest of the people of Oguta. I am more experienced and ready to implement the legacy of the State government at the Council and taking our people out of poverty” Deacon Obodo.
