The Commissioner of Police in Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma, has praised Governor Hope Uzodinma for his exceptional support in the fight against violent crimes through his effort to ensure the donations of working tools by the State government.
The Governor donated 27 new patrol vehicles, 22 refurbished operational vehicles, and 8 Armored Personnel Carriers to the Command for prompt and quick response to fight crime.
CP Danjuma acknowledged the Governor’s support for the families of deceased and injured police officers, which has boosted Officers morale.
He also thanked the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, for his support and provision of logistics and welfare packages to enhance the State government Police Command in the fight against crime and criminality.
The refurbished vehicles according to the Press release from the Imo State Police public Relations Officer, PPRO, ASP Henry Okoye, stated that, the Vehicles will be deployed across the State for enhanced visibility policing and night patrols, ensuring the safety and security of Imo State residents.
The CP reassured the public of the Command’s determination to safeguard lives and properties, soliciting continued support from citizens in the fight against crime.
