UZODIMMA’S SPECIAL ADVISER’S THREATENING RESIGNATION …SAYS WE ARE LEFT WITHOUT PORTFOLIOS, JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Chigozie Marquis

The Special Advisers (SAs) to Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, are threatening to resign due to lack of job specifications, portfolios, official offices, and vehicles, several weeks after their inauguration.

Despite being inaugurated alongside Commissioners, the SAs feel abandoned and marginalized, with no clear roles or responsibilities.

They claim to be educated and knowledgeable individuals eager to contribute to the state’s development but are hindered by the lack of support and resources.

The SAs are calling on the governor to urgently define their roles and provide necessary resources or face their collective resignation.
The situation highlights the need for clear communication and effective governance in the state.

While the Governor’s Media Aide and Chief Press Secretary Hon Oguwike Nwachukwu was not able to comment on the issue due to unavailable of his telephone line.
