World Bank Market Executives Condemned False Publications Using the Name of the Market
….Says Those Calling for Election Are Enemy’s of Peace & Distraction in the State.

The leadership of World Bank Market Owerri Imo State has distanced and condemned the frivolous and malicious publication in one of the lowest Newspapers in Imo State name withheld in its Friday publication with “World Bank Market Leaders Commend Gov. Uzodimma, Dr Abazu, Exonerates themselves from Ezeanochie’s call for his release, ready, prepared for upcoming elections”.
Reacting to the publication, World Bank Market Leaders under Hon. Mrs. Tina Ugoezi condemned the frivolous and unfounded Falsehood linking her executives and warned those whose stock in trade is to cause disaffections and cohesion to desist.
According to her, World Bank Market Leaders has earlier on commended and congratulated the governor for the appointments of Dr Chika Benson Abazu as the Commissioner for Commerce Trade and Investment and will not indulge in any hide and seek game or a tendency to destroy the peace and stability in the market
According to her, the publications in question has no particular leader mentioned to be the pioneer as it’s only an infringement or imaginations of the writer and called on those who claimed to be journalists to be objective and ethical in their practice by avoiding blackmail and falsehood.
It’s also a fallacy that a sectional market leadership will meddle into the State Market Association ISAMATA affairs with the State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma, we are not aware of the publication and will not be part of those that will incite the governor against any of our fellow traders or Hon. Emmanuel Ezeanochie.
On the issue of election of the Market Executives, it was placed on hold by the Commissioner for Commerce, Trade and Investment, Dr Chika Benson Abazu to enable him settled down first before any other thing as he has already promised to visit all the Major markets in the State to enable him Serve better and will not be bothered by the frivolous publication meant to destroy the peace and harmony in the markets.
World Bank Market Leadership, by, Hon. Mrs Tina Ugoezi, therefore, called on the traders and customers to disregard the false and unguarded publications from some faceless individuals claiming to have be a “Concerns Traders’ as it’s neither coming from the market nor the State only the enemies of peace and distractions.
