The Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has received a vote of confidence over his second term developmental line-up programmes.
This accolade came immediately after inauguration of capable persons as his commissioners on April 30, 2024, at Sam Mbakwe Expanded Executive Chambers, Government House,Owerri.
Passing the vote of confidence in the Governor, were members of Imo Council of Traditional Ruler, Isiala Mbano Chairman and the Traditional Ruler of Anara Ancient kingdom, Eze Ogemdi Agbugba, Political leaders from Okigwe Zone mostly Isiala Mbano, Chief Hon Sam Osuji,member representing Isiala Mbano State Constituency in Imo State House of Assembly and Association of Imo State Directors of Administration and General Services( DAGS).
They extolled Governor Hope Uzodimma for the reappointment of Chief Mrs Rubby Emele as the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
The stakeholders described Chief Mrs Rubby Emele as a trailblazer, humility personified, an epitome of Womanhood and the beautiful wife of the everliving philanthropist and community leader, Chief Barr. Willy Emele of the blessed memory.
It would be recalled that through the pragmatic leadership approach of the amazon, Chief Mrs. Emele,peace gradually returned to Imo communities.
While protests and demonstrations over community related matters such as Ezeship tussle which always become order of the day in Imo State have reduced.
Under her watch, Local Government Administration Pattern past Transition Committee Chairmen and members, were solidified, united and supportive to the Governor Hope Uzodimma’s administration.
The stakeholders further said,”Chief Rubby is a bridge builder,she was able to unite the old and new creams of leaders at Imo State Council level.
She is a blessing to the government of the Senator Hope Uzodimma and will continue to do her best to ensure that peace and stability reign in the 27 local Government Area and over Six hundred and forty Autonomous Community in the State”.
