Imo Police Commissioner Moves To Restore Lasting Peace In Ohaji Egbema Visits Abacheke Community After Gunmen Attack

The Imo State Police Commissioner, CP Aboki Danjuma, visited Abacheke Community and it’s environs in Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State in his efforts to restore a lasting peace after the dastardly murder of five persons by yet to be identified gunmen few days ago.

In a Press release from the Police Public Relations Officer ASP Henry Okoye on Monday 11 March 2024 said that,
“In furtherance of his unflinching dedication and community Policing oriented approach to combatting crime, the Commissioner Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma, convened a pivotal security meeting with the stakeholders of Abacheke Community in Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo State over the recent gruesome murder of five residents of Abacheke community by gunmen”.

“By chance, The all important meeting which was held at the palace of the traditional ruler of Abacheke Community, HRH Eze Ikeji Bright, Eze Osichi Orumara had in attendance the former speaker, Imo State House of Assembly and immediate past Minister of State Education, Rt. Hon. Bright Nanah Opiah.

Adequate security measures have been implemented to enhance the overall safety, security and wellbeing of the people of Abacheke community and other communities in Ohaji/Egbema LGA”.
According to him with the CP Aboki Danjuma’s visit to the area has put more confidence and security assurance of the area.
