2026 Father’s Day celebration: Madumere Felicitates Owerri Zone, Include Men’s Priority in his Senatorial Project

Extending his warmth felicitations to fathers across Owerri Zone, Imo State, and Nigeria on the occasion of the 2026 Father’s Day celebration pointed out that the father bears the broths of family growth and revival and often neglect while women and youth empowerment was often carried out without minding the man of the house.
According to the release from the Special Adviser on media Mr. Evans Uchechukwuemena, said that, the Former Imo State Deputy Governor Prince Madumere, while describing fathers as a pillars of strength, symbols of sacrifice, and the bedrock upon which strong families and prosperous societies are built. He commended fathers for their unwavering commitment to the upbringing of their children, the protection of their families, and their invaluable contributions to nation-building.
According to him, Father’s Day provides an opportunity to celebrate the dedication, resilience, and selfless service of fathers who continually make sacrifices to ensure the well-being and progress of their homes and communities.
The former Deputy Governor urged fathers to remain steadfast in upholding moral values, promoting peace, and providing responsible leadership within their families, especially at a time when society requires strong guidance and positive examples.
Prince Madumere also encouraged younger generations to honour and appreciate the sacrifices made by fathers and father figures whose efforts often go unnoticed but remain instrumental to the growth and stability of society.
As Nigerians commemorate this special day, he prayed for God’s continued blessings, good health, wisdom, and strength upon all fathers, while wishing them a joyful and fulfilling Father’s Day celebration.
He firmly promised to ensure that what ever that’s due for the men gets to them under his watch as a senator Owerri Zone and encourage his fellow father’s to always be a good ambassador and to do anything humanly possible to the growth of their Wards or children and create a safe society.
