Owerre Nchi Ise Monarchs Confer Prestigious Chieftaincy Title on Nze Chinasa Nwaneri
Etiokwe Congratulates “Nasa Holdings” on Honour

The traditional rulers of Owerre Nchi Ise Ancient Kingdom in Owerri Municipal Council of Imo State have unanimously conferred the prestigious chieftaincy title of “Chinasaramokwu I of Owerre Nchi Ise” on the Special Adviser to the Governor of Imo State on Monitoring and Compliance, Nze Chinasa Nwaneri.
The honour was bestowed by the Owerre Nchi Ise Municipal Council of Traditional Rulers, comprising the autonomous communities of, Umuonyeche, Amawom, Umuoyima, Umuororonjo, Umuihugba/ Umuodo during a colourful coronation ceremony held at the Eze Imo Palace, Mbari, Owerri.
The Council is chaired by His Royal Highness, Eze Possible Uche, Ihemefule I of Umuonyeche Autonomous Community, who described the conferment as a unanimous decision reached in recognition of Nwaneri’s exemplary public service, commitment to community development and invaluable contributions to the growth of Imo State.
According to the royal father, Nwaneri has consistently demonstrated competence, dedication and integrity in every responsibility assigned to him by Governor Hope Uzodimma. He further noted that the governor’s aide has deep roots in Owerre Nchi Ise, having been born and raised in Oguamanam, where he completed his primary and secondary education before proceeding to the university.
“Nze Chinasa Nwaneri has remained a worthy ambassador of Owerre Nchi Ise whose contributions to governance and humanity have earned him this honour,” the monarch stated.
Responding after his coronation, (High Chief) Nze, Chinasa Nwaneri expressed profound gratitude to the traditional rulers and the leadership of the council for finding him worthy of the honour. He described the title as a call to greater responsibility and dedicated it to the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma.
He pledged to remain committed to selfless service, the advancement of Imo State and the welfare of the people, while appreciating his family, friends and well-wishers for celebrating the milestone with him.
Governor Hope Uzodimma was represented at the event by his Chief of Staff, Government House, who is also a an Elder brother to the celebrant, Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie.
Other dignitaries at the ceremony included the Deputy Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Amarachi Chyna Iwuanyanwu; the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Ralph Nwosu; the Commander of the Imo State Police Command Anti-Kidnapping Unit, ACP Oladimeji Odeyeyiwa; the Executive Chairman of Njaba Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi (Etiokwe Njaba); the General Manager of Imo ENTRACO, Chief Anthony Anyaehie (Big Shark); and several government officials, traditional rulers, political leaders and stakeholders.
In his remarks, the Executive Chairman of Njaba Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi (Etiokwe Njaba), congratulated Nwaneri, fondly known as “Nasa Holdings,” describing him as a vibrant, result-oriented administrator whose contributions to governance and humanity have earned him widespread admiration.
He urged the new chieftain to regard the honour as a greater call to service and to continue using his influence and position for the benefit of the people, the development of Imo State and the service of God and humanity.
