IMO STATE IS RISING TO GREATNESS IN BASIC EDUCATION

Imo State Universal Basic Education Board has expressed its plan to commence the building of standard school blocks across the 27 Council’s in the State.
In his words, IMSUBEB Executive Chairman, Hon. Chidiebere Egboh, stated that, “On behalf of the Imo State Universal Basic Education Board (IMSUBEB), I wish to sincerely commend the visionary leadership of His Excellency, the Most Distinguished Senator Hope Odidika Uzodinma, Executive Governor of Imo State, for initiating one of the most ambitious and transformational projects in the history of basic education in our state.
This week marks the official commencement of the construction of new standard school buildings and the comprehensive renovation of existing ones across all 305 wards in the 27 Local Government Areas of Imo State. This bold and strategic intervention aims to transform the landscape of public basic education and significantly improve learning outcomes.
Under the dynamic leadership of His Excellency, this administration is not merely erecting physical structures—it is building a future anchored on knowledge, innovation, and opportunity. These infrastructural upgrades will be complemented with modern instructional materials, quality textbooks, and learning aids, all designed to enhance teaching and learning across our basic schools.
As a Board, IMSUBEB is fully mobilized and operational through our Works, Evaluation, and Compliance Team to ensure every project is delivered within the stipulated three-month timeframe and in full compliance with approved specifications and quality standards.
Governor Uzodinma is undoubtedly redefining governance in the education sector, and we at IMSUBEB are proud to be part of this transformative journey. This initiative will not only uplift the standard of education but also leave an enduring legacy for generations to come.
