A front line Community leader and fore most philanthropist High Chief Dr Collins Chigozie Osuagwu has lauded the Ogbor Traditional Council leadership
for their efforts in supporting the enthronement of community health services in Ugiri Mbano.
High Chief Dr Collins Osuagwu, popularly called Nmiri N’ari Ugwu Mbano in a message at the flag off of a three- week Medical students’ community apprenticeship training of Mission Hospital Mbano for Ugiri Communities lauded the Paramount Ruler and Eze Dr Mathew Onweni, Onyeishiala Ogbor Ugiri Mbano for supporting the programne.
The Community philanthropist abhorred pretentious mitigations of problems of rural dwellers by the governments while interventions by individuals, groups and organizations offers proactive benefits.
Chief Dr. Osuagwu who spoke through one his personal assistants Mr. Chimezie Lemchi described the management , staff of Mbano joint Hospital and the Provost of the College of Nursing ,Rev. Sister Nmadu Lorient as Pathfinders in Community Health services. Chief Dr Collins Osuagwu pledged to assist with logistics to feed the trainees as they consciously assist the elderly women and fathers with regular check of Vital signs with myriads usage of over the counter Drugs / Dispensations.
The leader of the delegation , Simon Chizikomuzo Egbom expressed appreciations for the hospitality of Ugiri Mbano Communities , especially the traditional Ruler of Host Community health Center , Ogbor Ugiri Mbano, HRM Eze Dr Mathew Onweni and the Philanthropist, High Chief Dr Collins Osuagwu.
The Student leader said their coming is going to avail more grounds in the quality and efficiency of Mbano College of Nursing. In his words ” Joint Hospital Mbano and management of the College of Nursing are truly poised for wonderful training of students to meet challenges of the century.
Earlier in his short welcome speech, the traditional Ruler Onye- Isiala Ogbor ancient dynasty, HRM Eze Dr Mathew Onweni welcomed the medical trainees and the Community philanthropist Chief Dr Collins Chigozie Osuagwu, Nmiri N’ari Ugwu Mbano for his interests and love for Rural dwellers.
Eze Onweni who once was the Imo state deputy deputy Chairman , Ndi Eze for Okigwe zone thanked the Ogbor Community leaders and High Chief Osuagwu for his continued support and encouragements to Communities and the People.
