Princess College of Nursing Science Mgbirichi Community in Ohaji Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State, has concluded her first Graduation and the third Matriculation ceremony in a grand style on 20th December 2024 at the school playing ground.
The double barrel Programme witnessed the students in a procession with the graduation and Matriculation gown attire to put a physical views and radiant colours to the event best described as auspice in Imo State in which both the Parents and the Academic community United to give the best Nursing education to the students vie sa vi improvement on the State health standard.
The serenity of the environment could be ascribed to the next Imo State Health Experts destinations as the institution is closer to St Joseph Eyes Hospital Mgbirichi, A stone thrown from the popular Port Harcourt Owerri Road making the training activity of the students easier and accessible with the collaborations.
Speaking the Visitor of the School and the Founder, Dr. Princess Ngozi Duru said that, Princess College of Nursing Science Mgbirichi is committed to the advancement of nursing education and the improvement of health care in not only Nigeria but the entire Africa and globally.
She Stated that, the ceremony marks the successful completion of academic and clinical training of the pioneer graduates and a promising beginning of the new Matriculating Students of the institution for the 2024&25 Academic session.
Expressing satisfactions with the graduated students, Princess Ngozi Duru, said that, they are qualified both in Academics learning and Character and wished them well in their future endeavors after numerous award of recognitions and ribbons decorations to the satisfied members of Nigeria Registered Nurses Council (RN).
Expressing her profound gratitude to out going best and performed students in the Institution including Miss Chioma Jessica Uzoma, Brenda Chinaemerem Ejiofor, Goodness Nnenna Iwuji, Valentine Aligo, Innocent Okpogba, Favour Amarachi Mark, Christabel Chidera Okafor, Princewill Chukwudubem Egbejimba and many others.
She maintained that the institution is prominent in her resolutions to the best and has adopted to give two deserving Scholarships Programme including Princess College of Nursing Science Scholarship on Academically Exceptional Students and Noble Sir.
Sebastian Gabriel Duru Memorial for the intelligent Indigent student as the first recipient of the award are Miss Chioma Jessica Uzoma and Eberechukwu Felicity Umeh respectively.
Speaking the School Registrar, Mr. Ernest Anyagwa said that, he is pleased to the historic first Convocation and third Matriculation ceremony and specially thank those that made the establishment of the institution a reality including the Founder, Dr. Princess Ngozi Duru, Registrar Of Nursing Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Dr. Faruk Umar Abubakar, Prof. Rev. Father Wence, Madu, Members of the Board, Traditional Ruler of Mgbirichi, HRH, Eze Raphael Ikegwuruka, Parents, Guidance and the Academias for the unity of purposes in achieving a milestone within a short time and encourage the new Matriculating Students to emulate the good legacies of the graduates.
Responding on behalf of the graduated students, Miss Goodness Nnenna Iwuji said it’s their profound honor to stand as the representative of the School class of November 2024 Princess College of Nursing Science Mgbirichi as a pioneer graduate and won’t sheer away from the alumni.
She expressed confidence and happiness with the level of academic learning acquired in the institution which she said will assist them to perform creditably globally as a certified Nurses through the devotions of the Founder, Dr Princess Ngozi Duru and the Board Chairman, Rev. Father, Dr. Cosmos Ajawara and his members and promised to remained good ambassadors of the College.
