Imo State Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma’s 66th birthday celebration has been marred by controversy and humiliation for some party members and royalists.

The event, held on December 12, 2024, at the Government House Banquet Hall in Owerri, was reportedly exclusive, with attendance restricted to the Governor’s allies and invited guests from Abuja who are not Imo State Stakeholders as the governor Senator Hope Uzodimma couldn’t absorb that he remained the Chief Servant of the State and should remain reliable and dependent by the People of Imo State. Governor Hope Uzodimma should render unreserved apology to those humiliated and intimidated and disallowed For coming to celebrate his birthday as the state Chief Servant at mist prevalent insecurity in the State.

Notable Imolites, including political figures and government officials, were denied entry into the venue, including Dr. Batos Nwadike, CAN State Chairman, Pastor Devine Eches, and Chief Dan Ogu. Dr. Nwadike, a key political figure, was publicly treated with disrespect and disdain by the Governor’s security personnel
