Njaba LGA Community Youth Presidents Visits Etiokwe, Partners the Council Leadership for Effective Grassroots Good Governance.

The Youth President of the Entire Community’s in Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State has Pledged their stewardship to serve their community inline with the government socio- Political and economic development mantra for adequate security, peace and progress.
In a familiarization visit to the Chairman Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi (Etiokwe) at Njaba Council headquarters, Nnenassa, on Wednesday, 20 November 2024, the youth Pledged their unflinching support to the New Council leadership and handed over some demanding letters for an enablement to carry on with their duties unperturbed as the number one youth in each of the Autonomous Community in Njaba LGA.

The youths, led by Njaba LGA Youth Presidents Coordinator and Youth President, Obinwanne Autonomous Community, Comrade John Kennedy Okpoko, congratulating the Chairman Njaba Local Government Area, Chief Etiokwe for his victory at the last polls and promised to support his administrations to succeed while making some open requests to the Council through a letter to the Executive Chairman, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, to help them by establishment or donations of an Official apartments for the Youth to Serve as Njaba Youth Presidents Cooperate administrative office to ensure facilitating the collaborations in good governance and provisions of other incentives to boost youths engagements in Njaba, including provisions of Identifications Card to each Youth President, financial assistance and many others.

Contributing, Okwudor Autonomous Community, Youth President, Arch. Emeka Ezekwem, expressed his confidence in the leadership of the Executive Chairman Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi Etiokwe who he described as tested and trusted allys and the desires of Njaba people and prayed God to continued to lead and guide him well for the interest of Njaba people in particular and Imo State.

Responding, Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, the Executive Chairman of Njaba LGA, overtly welcomed the 22 Njaba community youths presidents to his office and described the visit as total show of solidarity and cooperations as he accepted wholeheartedly the youths congratulated messages on his victory and their reaffirmation support for his administrations.

Chief Vitalis Ugochukwu Obi, further reassured them, that, his administration would address their requests and concerns by promising to take their message to the Councilors for Legislative inputs and urged them to cultivate a culture of unity and inclusiveness within their communities.

He expressed gratitude’s to the youths and assured them that they are an integral part of his administration as official office will be made available to them after the renovations of the old and abandoned complex.

He emphasized the significant role youths play in shaping society, describing them as today’s leaders of tomorrow. Etiokwe also encouraged the youths to be role models, promoting positive values and innovative ideas that will promote economic growth in Njaba.

“Yes the Legislative arms in the Council Leadership will look into the request of Identity card and monthly financial assistance, while other things to the welfares of the youth as the Executive Chairman Njaba LGA will be done, go home and maintain relatively peace because development can only come on a peaceful environment encourage your fellow youths to support the government of Senator Hope Uzodimma who has done much for the betterment of the youths in Imo State”.

There’s a lot of Youth development projects in line with Senator Hope Uzodimma’s 3R government priorities, this include, youth development through empowerment programs like SkillUpImo Projects and Imo Talent Hunts Programmes through the ministry of Youth and Talent Hunts, “please you should encouraged your brothers and sisters to make judicious use of this noble opportunity as we are not going to relent to ensure that our people benefited from such laudable projects”.
