A Pro Democracy Pressure group of Mbaitoli APC,the MBAITOLI APC WATCHDOG has condemned the outcome of a leaked illegal and unauthorised secret meeting of some Leaders of APC Mbaitoli led by Chief Marcelinus Nlemigbo and Barr Kingsley Ononuju wherein an alleged sum of N10 million was said to have been released to them by the Mbaitoli SOLAD HON IFUNANYA NWANEGWO to endorse him as consensus and generally accepted Candidate of APC Mbaitoli as against the wishes and desire of other Mbaitoli Leaders,stakeholders and 13 Chairmanship Aspirants,describing the said meeting as criminal,fraudulent and threat to the peace,unity and continuing existence of APC Mbaitoli.

RE:FRAUDULENT PLAN BY CHIEF MARCELINUS NLEMIGBO,BARR KINGSLEY ONONUJU AND OTHERS TO ENDORSE HON IFUNANYA NWANEGWO AS CONSENSUS CANDIDATE OF APC MBAITOLI.
RE:WARNING TO THE CONCERNED LEADERS TO DESIST FROM SUCH CRIMINAL ACT.
Our attention has been drawn to an ongoing clandestine,unauthorized and illegal meeting at CHIEF MARCELINUS NLEMIGBO House Umudagu Mbieri on Sunday 8th Sept 2024 wherein they have planned to make a publication endorsing the SOLAD Mbaitoli HON IFUNAYA NWANEGWO as the Consensus and generally accepted Candidate of APC Mbaitoli.
For record purposes we wish to state as follows:
1.That the few leaders conveyed by Chief Marcellinus Nlemigbo and Barr Kingsley Ononuju to carry out this Criminal Act does not have the mandate,consent or authority of the Mbaitoli APC Leaders to hold such meeting or take such decision or endorsement of the said SOLAD.
2.That none of the Chairmanship Aspirants in Mbaitoli were ever consulted and or consented to such Criminal gathering and purported endorsement.
3.That the said SOLAD Hon IFUNANYA NWANEGWO allegedly paid/brought the sum of N10million to Chief Marcellinus Nlemigbo and Barr Kingsley Ononuju to Share to Leaders that were invited to the said meeting and will agree to sign and or signs the said endorsement communique which they will publish in the newspapers and also sent to the Governor.
4.That it is now clear to everybody in Mbaitoli that it is these Corrupt and Criminal Minded So called leaders that are behind the sabotage going on against the Governor in Mbaitoli over peaceful preparations for the incoming LGA elections.No wonder the Governor of Imo State Dist Sen.Hope Uzodimma is disappointed and very angry with Mbaitoli APC Leaders such as Chief Nlemigbo and others for collecting huge sums of money from different Aspirants,signing agreements with them and taking them to the shrine for different form of Oath taking.
5.That it is time for APC faithful in Mbaitoli to know that these present crop of Mbaitoli APC Leaders particularly Chief Nlemigbo and others are criminally minded and have no conscience and lacks the capacity to take the party to any greater height.They are only interested in their selfish pockets and cares not about those that has suffered for the party.
6.That MBAITOLI APC WATCHDOG,as a Pro Democracy Pressure group of APC Mbaitoli hereby disassociates ourselves from any such meeting or clandestine and fraudulent endorsement of Hon IFUNANYA NWANEGWO as the APC Consensus or generally accepted candidate.Such endorsement must only be taken or accepted when all the other Aspirants consents or agrees to same.
7.That the said HON IFUNANYA NWANEGWO did not participate in the pre qualification exercise of the party for the forthcoming election.As the present SOLAD,he did not resign his position in line with the law and cannot be imposed on the Mbaitoli by Chief Marcellinus Nlemigbo or Barr Kingsley Ononuju after allegedly collecting N10million Naira.
8.That we urge the Governor His Excellency Dist Senator Hope Uzodimma to disregard any such communique of endorsement coming from these criminal minded leaders by deciding himself who fly the party’s flag for Mbaitoli because with the crop of some of the present corrupt APC leaders in Mbaitoli such as Chief Nlemigbo and others nothing good can come out from them to move Mbaitoli APC forward.
9.That MBAITOLI APC WATCHDOG hereby warns Chief Nlemigbo and cohorts to desist from their Criminal Activities of planning to endorse the said SOLAD Hon Ifunanya Nwanegwo without the consent of the generality of APC leaders,Chairmanship Aspirants and stakeholders of the party as such is a time bomb to destroy APC in Mbaitoli.
10.That Hon Ifunanya Nwanegwo is advised to stop wasting his money on the said leaders as they can no longer decide for the party in Mbaitoli before the Governor,having messed themselves up already.We also advice Chief Nlemigbo and cohorts to honourably return the said N10million to the said SOLAD as they have extorted enough from these Chairmanship Aspirants so far.
