The Leadership and management of the foremost Governor Uzodimma’s Supporting Pressure group under the aegis of Imo Hope For Good Governance has reiterated their decisions to support the Director General and the Founder Pastor Chris Mbarie to contest the Orlu Local Government Area Chairmanship position in the forthcoming Imo State LGA elections.
Undoubtedly, Pastor Chris Mbarie who served as the former Sole Administrator of the Council was instrumental to the return of peace and security in Orlu and will continue to do his best as the executive chairman of the council after his election.
According to the report from, Comrade Chidiebere Anyanwu, the Group Media& Publicity Head stated that
As the various Political Parties and aspirants justle and prepare for the September 21, 2024, Council polls in Imo State, Imo Hope For Good Governance (IHFGG) has a serious stake cum interest in the elections. Despite the fact that the Founder/Convener/Director General (DG) of the vibrant political organization, Hon. Pst. Chris Mbarie is vying for the position of Executive Chairman of Orlu LGA and victory is assured, the group also wants other members of the political structure to be elected either as Executive Chairmen of their various LGAs or as Councillors of their respective political Wards.
It must be noted that IHFGG as an integral part of Governor Hope Uzodimma’s Shared Prosperity Government has contributed immensely for the successes recorded by the Government so far. It’s obvious that the vibrant organisation as championed by Mbarie (the immediate past Solad of Orlu LGA) is institutionalized in every Polling Unit/Booth, Ward and LGA of Imo State & hence, has massive followership and more importantly, the voting power to make the difference in any election or rather, electoral contest. Again, IHFGG has made very huge sacrifices and toiled to elect and also actualised the re-election of Most Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma as Governor of Imo State. More so, the efforts and contributions of this solid political structure should be appreciated and as well rewarded at this very time.
The stake of Imo Hope For Good Governance (IHFGG) in the forthcoming Imo Council polls is to have a handful of her members elected and also appointed into key positions in this Government. It’s on this note that a passionate appeal is being made to Governor Hope Uzodimma and the Leadership of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Imo State to patronise IHFGG.
Therefore, the esteemed members of IHFGG are urged to throw in their heart into the political ring and contest in the aforementioned election with all alacrity and optimism or emerging victoriously.
