Governor Hope Uzodimma has been commended for the installation of Night landing facility at Sam Mbakwe International Airport Owerri Imo State.
Imo people in a Commendations reaction expressed happiness and satisfaction with the governor Senator Hope Uzodimma for his infrastructural development proactiveness orchestrated by the implementation of basic and people oriented projects in the State.
From the News handle of the Former Special Advisers to the governor on Public Enlightenment, Prince Eze Ugochukwu stating that “a historic moment, the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport has officially commenced night landing operations, thanks to the visionary leadership of Governor Hope Uzodimma. This milestone marks a significant upgrade in the airport’s infrastructure, positioning Imo State as a hub for regional and international connectivity”.
“The successful landing of Air Peace from Abuja at 7: 10 pm on Saturday May 25, 2024, followed by its departure to Lagos at 7:45 pm, demonstrates the efficiency and safety of the newly installed Airfield Lightening System”.
“The completion of this project, initiated, awarded, and fully paid for by the Uzodimma administration, showcases the government’s dedication to driving economic growth and development in the state.
