Ihedioha Group Strengthens Rebuild Imo Movement Calls For Synergy, Partners To Move The State forward

RT Hon. Emeka Ihedioha Political Pressure Group under the aegis of Rebuild Imo Movement has remained formidable, strengthened and currently calling for synergy and partnership from the people in order to move the State forward.
In a press briefing by the leadership of Chief Stanley Ekezie, former member of People’s Democratic Party,South East Zonal Executive member, pointed out that, the Rebuild Imo Movement family are formidable and strengthened which has totally and holistically aligned with their Principal RT Hon Emeka Ihedioha following the massive resignations from the earlier Party, PDP which Ihedioha was among the founding fathers in 1998 till 23rd April,2024. This according to him,was occasioned by the massive resignation across and bringing to the fore the final burial of the party in the State.
In his words, “following the resignation of His Excellency Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha, an unprecedented number of leaders and members of the party in Imo State have followed suit. This mass resignation of majority members of the PDP in Imo State, which is still unfolding, is an expression of total confidence in the leadership of RT Hon Emeka Ihedioha, whose integrity and democratic credentials endeared him to Imo people across Party lines.
For the purpose of emphasis and clarity, the list of those who have resigned from the party include, Former Military Governor,Air Commodore Dr Luke Ochulor, Former Deputy Governor,Engr Gerald Irona, former ministers, Engr. Charles Ugwu and Chief Chuka Odom, Party BOT Member, Chief Barr Chris Okewulonu, Former NEC Member,Chief Henry Ekpe, Former Elected members of the National Assembly and State Assembly, Hon. ThankGod Ezeani, Hon. Mayor Eze, Hon. Barr Uche Onyeagocha, Hon. Ugonna Ozurigbo, Hon. Obinna Onwubuariri, Hon. Jonas Okeke and Hon. Chibuzo Agulanna, Hon Barr. Okey Onyekamma, Chief Lawrence. Many House of Assembly Candidates and former members like Sunny Unachukwu, Chukwuemeka John and Pius Omar.
Others are Chairman Elders Council, Prof Jude Njoku and Professor Obioma Iheduru the Secretary, members of PDP South East Zonal Executive Officers, Sir Stanley Ekezie and Chief Augustine Elochukwu, Senatorial Candidate for the Party, Chief Emmanuel Okewulonu, 24 IMC Chairmen out of 27 Council in the State over 2277 top leaders and financiers 29 out of 39 State Executive Committee, 13 out of 27 Party Chairmen 267 out of 432 LGAS Party Executive officers, 243 out of 305 ward Chairmen and over 3888 ward executive of the party possibly resigned” he said.
Chief Ekezie maintained that henceforth, Ihedioha and all his supporters have floated the Rebuild Imo Movement a platform to strategize and consolidate, “The Rebuild Imo Movement shall partner with all well-meaning citizens of Imo State and organization to give meaning to the entrenchment and promotion of democracy in the State”. Ekezie stated.
