According to him, He didn’t jump into the market to develop but was officially offered the job by the Management of Mbaitoli Local Government Area of Imo State. He pointed out that after series of meetings with both of the Four Autonomous Community Traditional Rulers and their President Generals and the Leadership of Mbaitoli Local Government Area wherein the MOU was signed and the people of Ogbaku Clan under the Ezumezu-Ogbaku Progressive Association accepted him to come and start work.
However, wondering how, one of the Traditional Rulers, Eze Onyeanwu, was thereafter laying claims over the Market as the sole ownership and inheritance of his own community causing the delay.
The action he said has caused confusion and crisis leading to his suspension of work to ensure peace in the market. He pointed out that the cost of building materials is at the high cost and called on all the appropriate Town Unions, Traders, Traditional Rulers and the Council to come and make sure that the work commence immediately as it will not last long for the Company to deliver accordingly inline with the Agreement.
