Tenth National Assembly has positioned self as the worst set of National Assembly members Nigeria will ever produced with the brazenly unsubstantiated suspension of their colleague Senator Abdul Ningi for speaking out against evil perpetrated in the 2024 Appropriated National Budget as a sabotage against Nigerians vis-a-vis a pay back to the masses for wrongly election of vipers and inhumane persons into the position of legislative authority.
The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday suspended Senator Abdul Ningi for three months over his allegations that the Federal Government was clearly operating with two budgets.
The suspension followed the amendment of prayers by Senator Jimoh Ibrahim to the motion raised by Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan which took Senators hours to debate.
Ningi granted an interview on Monday last week alleging that the sum of N3.7 trillion could not be traced to any projects.
After a heated debate on Tuesday, a prayer was amended through a motion by Senator Ekpeyong Asuquo representing Cross River South Senatorial District saying that he should be suspended for six months.
However, Senator AbdulRahid Mallam Maidori from Jigawa suggested a month’s suspension.
In his remarks, the Senate President sustained the three-month suspension after he put the recommended prayers to a voice vote and Ningi was suspended for three months.
This is the highest of legislative injustices to entreat Nigerians as slaves and to reassured that even the members of the National Assembly will henceforth seized to speaking out further any action of the power- drunken tyrannies against the gullible and deflated Nigeria citizens and to keep the nation in a perpetual darkness forever while they continued to hurdles and buried the economy for a selfish reason and personal aggrandizement.
