The governor Senator Hope Uzodimma has pulled surprises by reappointment of his old time friends into the new State Executive Council to stern the political landscape of Imo State.
Those his close associates returned back as commissioners are Chief Cosmos Maduba Ode Ebube Isu, Rt. Hon
Declan Mbadiwe Emelumba, Barr. Raphael Obiora Nwosu, Lady Nkechi Ugwu and many others.
At the commencement of their legislative business, the member representing Owerri-West State Constituency, and Imo Majority Leader of the 10th Imo Assembly, Hon.Kanayo Onyemaechi, moved a motion to admit the Commissioner nominees and the Special Advisers of the Imo State Governor,Sen.Hope Uzodimma, to the hallowed chambers for the purpose of their screening and confirmation.
Members of Imo State House of Assembly,IMHA,on Thursday, March 7th, 2024, were happy to officially screened and confirmed 12 and 16 persons nominated by the Executive Governor of Imo State, Sen.Hope Uzodimma, for the positions of Commissionship and Special Advisers,SA’s, respectively.
Those confirmed and screened at the Imo Hallowed Chambers as Commissioners/Special Advisers include

- Hon.Engr.Barr.Ralph Obiora Nwosu, from Oru-West LGA, former Imo Commissioner for Works.

- Hon.Dr.Chimezie Paulinus Amadi, from Nwangele LGA, the former Imo Commissioner for Digital Economy/E-Government,
