From all indications, Hon Chief Joseph Chukwuma Ikunna is generally accepted by the people of Oru West ,Oguta and Ohaji Egbema Federal Constituency and therefore, best suited to represent tthe people at the House of Representatives in Abuja if an opinion poll conducted at the weekend is anything to go by.
Having wormed himself into the hearts of his people as an entrepreneur, industrialist, development strategist and a philanthropist, the narrative has been changed as he is now regarded as a resourse aggregator, problem solver and an execution-driven leader.
Known for establishing a 180-tonne/ day palm kernel processing plant in his community, transitioning into renewable energy with Solaria Lumina Power Ltd and powered over 1,000 homes with a clear pathway to 5, 000 + installations in his community, Ikunna has set a machinery in motion to do more for his people in the following areas; installing more solar street lights across surrounding communities, engaging with development frameworks like NDDC’s electrification initiatives, engaging federal government intervention agencies, engaging in mass job creation through SME’s and Agro processing, engaging in youth empowerment and digital skills development, infrastructural advocacy and execution partnership and above all, adopt transparency and accountability as watchword.
