Group Visits IMHA Clark Mrs Emeghara For the Good of Imo Women

The Executive and Members of Standing-up For Women Society International, Imo State Chapter, a Non Governmental Organization has Visited the Clerk/Head Legislative Service, Imo State House Of Assembly, Barr. Mrs Chinelo Adaora Emeghara, Esq.
The visit was aimed at familiarizing themselves with the Clerk and acquainting her with their aims and objectives.
The association, a self-sponsored international organization, aims to support and uplift women in governance and speak for the voiceless.
The Chairperson, Lib. Meg Anosike, highlighted some of the association’s achievements, including paying hospital bills for indigent women, distributing sanitary pads to secondary school students, visiting motherless babies’ homes, and visiting female inmates in prison/correctional centers.
The Clerk, Mrs Chinelo Adaora Emeghara, expressed her willingness to support the association and accepted their request to be a guest speaker at their forthcoming International Conference in September. She praised the association’s members as women of substance, integrity, and credibility.
The visit demonstrates the importance of women supporting women in public offices and promoting gender equality.
