Senator Izunaso, Other’s Sympathies, Bids Farewell To Ex Anambra Governor Ezeife

Burial Ceremony of Former Anambra State Governor Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife has been described as a gathering of Igbo Leaders given the genuine contributions of the late Sage in his passionate efforts to restored the shattered hope of the Ndi Igbo in Nigeria as a true Son and father.
The Senator Representing Imo West Senatorial District and Chairman Senate Committee on Capital Market and Institutions, Senator Osita Izunaso has sympathized with the family of the fallen Hero over the life, times, and legacies of the late Chief Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, who passed away in December 2023, as his remains begins the movement of its final journey to the great beyond, with a service of songs organised in his honour in Abuja, Wednesday 17th to Saturday 20 April 2024 for the final funeral rite in his Igbo Ukwu Autonomous Community in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State Country home.
Senator Izunaso described, the Late, His Excellency, Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, former Governor of Anambra State as “Ezi nwanne di na mba”, saying that “the late Dr. Ezeife, popularly called “Okwadike”, the progenitor of the popular ‘Think Home Philosophy,’ was an accomplished political icon, a dependable, reliable and a fearless great Igbo son, who braced all odds to say things as they were, even in unfavorable circumstances, adding that, “Dr. Ezeife was an unassuming personality, an embodiment of simplicity, intergrity and humility personified, a man who sacrificed his life for the course he believed in; he was a bridge builder and a true nationalist, whose voice was never found wanting during critical time and situations in Nigeria.”
The Distinguished Senator regretted that, Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife will surely be missed by his friends, associates and Nigeria in general, for his disarming candour of wise counsels when it mattered most.
Senator Izunaso prayed the Almighty God to grant the soul of the late Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeife, “Okwadike n’ Igboukwu” eternal rest and give the family, the fortitude to bear the inestimable loss.
