It was a celebration of Birthdays for the Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi and the youth as 300 citizens from Imo-East Senatorial District (Owerri Zone Extraction) of Imo State, have been trained and received empowerment kits from the Senator, Chief Ezenwa Francis Onyewuchi, to enable them be self reliance and employers of labour. I
This includes Private and Government owned Secondary School Teachers retreating Programmes and Donations of Teaching Materials to Schools including Electronic Board , Laptops and many others.
The beneficiaries were trained in Solar Installation and Maintenance, Information and Communication Technology, New Technology Teaching Techniques , Graphic Design and Contemporary Welding and Woodworks.
Speaking during the presentation of their Start-Up Kits and Certificates at Rockview Hotels, Owerri, Senator Onyewuchi, expressed optimism for empowering his constituents which is one of the promises, according him was made during his last electioneering campaigns.
Onyewuchi described the empowerment day as special, noted that he choose to celebrate his birthday on that day as part of expressing his profound love and care for his constituents.
He urged the beneficiaries to utilize what they have learned and use the start up kits judiciously.
The Celebrity Senator, Onyewuchi, while speaking, assured the beneficiaries of continuous supports from his office.
Commending the kind gestures, Hon Ambrose Ejiogu (Ndaa-Ambu), lauded Senator Onyewuchi for teaching his constituents how to fish and also giving them hooks and nets to aid them be self reliance.
He urged the beneficiaries to utilize the opportunity and be good ambassadors Of Imo East wherever they are.
The beneficiaries got laptops, inverters, projectors , screen boards , saw , helmets among others.
Speaking, Pastor Chris Ineh who expressed happiness with the passionate donations and genuine empowerment from the Senator Ezenwa Onyewuchi for his benevolent and pragmatism not a selective exercise by all involved especially the schools from the Private sector as his own been the Proprietor of Susan Chris Secondary School Owerri. He urged all the beneficiaries to make adequate use of the opportunity to improve the society.
Earlier the Chairman of the event, Prof Emenike Ejiogu described the Federal Law-maker for his legislative pragmatism and genuine representation and selflessness and encouraged the beneficiaries to make good use of the training to add value to the society.
