POLITICAL LEADERSHIP SHOULD BE ABOUT SERVICE TO GOD AND HUMANITY—-Dr. Marceilli Ogu.
—-Says, He Desires To Continue In His Life Of Service.
United Kingdom based Mbaise Born Entrepreneur and Finance guru, Dr. Marceilli Chinagorom Ogu, has said that, Political leadership should be all about Service to God and humanity, stating that, any leadership that does not give premium to serving God and mankind is counterproductive.
Dr. Ogu said in an interview weekend that, he had earlier in his life prayed that God would bless him so that he could bless others, adding that, God answered that prayer and since then, he has not left any stone unturned in fulfilling the promise he made.
According to him, when it was obvious that God had answered his prayers by blessing him, he has never looked back in being a blessing to others, including individuals, Churches, Communities, groups and others, noting that, he has continued to do that in fulfillment of the vow he made to GOD while he was praying for his blessings.
Ogu, who is nursing the ambition to represent Owerri Zone in the red Chambers of the National Assembly remarked that, having been impacting positively on a lot of lives as a private citizen, he desires to add another angle to his commitment to the service of God and humanity by representing Owerri Zone in the Senate by 2027 to make a whole lot of difference.
For him, the Senatorial ambition is not borne out of just political ambition, but out of the burning desire to demonstrate the fact that representation at any level should be about the people and not about personal ego or comfort.
Ogu who hails from Ogbe Ahiara in Ahiazu Mbaise local Government of lmo State said, he had gone through the crucibles of life and should know where the nail pinches when it comes to representing the people.
A certified mortgage professional, Ogu holds a Doctorate degree in business administration with a major in Accounting and Corporate finance from Durblin City University. He had also gotten his Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies and a Masters degree in Accounting and lnternational Finance, respectively from the University of Westminster United kingdom.
Ogu is a Fellow of Chartered Management lnstitute, London, CAT the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Fellow, the Federation of Tax Advisors, Fellow lnstitute of Financial Accountants, Fellow Association of lnternational Accountants, Fellow Certified lnstitute of Public Accountants, Associate Member of the Chartered lnsurance lnstitute of London and a member of the Personal Finance Society.
Dr. Ogu has various business interests in lmo in particular and across the nation in general, including retails, hotels, distributions etc. He was the candidate of APGA in the 2019 election for Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise federal Constituency.
He had carried out mega empowerment programmes at certain levels and has positively touched many lives through his philanthropic projects.
He told the media that his aspiration to go to the Senate in 2027 is to change the narrative in the representation of the people, adding that, he has nothing else to look for except to continue in his service to GOD and humanity.
