On the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, I extend warm greetings and heartfelt appreciation to all teachers across Imo State and Nigeria. On behalf of the Imo State Universal Basic Education Board (IMSUBEB), I celebrate your dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the growth and development of our children.
Today, we honour the noble profession of teaching and salute the men and women whose selfless service continues to shape the future of our state and nation. Your tireless efforts, patience, and sacrifices do not go unnoticed. You are the silent architects of a better society — and for this, we remain immensely grateful.
Special appreciation goes to the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) for their relentless advocacy and for organizing a memorable Teachers’ Day celebration. Your unity and steadfast commitment to the welfare of teachers in Imo State are truly commendable.
We also acknowledge and appreciate the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, the Executive Governor of Imo State. His consistent investment in education — from improving infrastructure to enhancing teacher welfare — continues to uplift the standard of basic education in our dear state. His Excellency’s passion and transformative policies have laid a solid foundation for a brighter educational future.
